The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation helps by:

Purchasing medical equipment not covered by government funding

• a pulmonary function machine for inhalation therapy
• an echocardiogram
• an MRI
• a mammography unity for radiology
• specialized chairs for geriatrics and dialysis patients

Funding patient-related programs not covered by government funding 

• a Cardiac Wellness Program that includes education, exercise and lifestyle adjustments
• a transportation program for haemodialysis patients
• psychological support for cancer patients and their families
