Equipment Purchases

The main purpose of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation is to purchase medical equipment for the hospital that is not provided for in government programs. 

The needs of the hospital are many, and the Equipment Committee of the West Island Health and Social Services Centre (WI HSSC), that oversees the management of the hospital, provides a list of needed medical equipment to the LGH Foundation.  The Board of Directors of the LGH Foundation make the decision to purchase equipment with the guidance of the WI HSSC personnel.
