Thank you for visiting our site. We invite you to learn about the Lakeshore General Hospital (LGH) Foundation and its essential role in our community, as well as its history, current activities and special events.
The LGH Foundation is an important part of the health care picture on the West Island. Our Foundation currently supports the Lakeshore General Hospital, one of the four sites of the West Island Health and Social Services Centre (WIHSSC). The main role of the LGH Foundation is to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment for the hospital that government funding by itself cannot provide.
On this site, you can learn about making a donation, volunteering, the tax benefits of “Planned Giving,” find useful links to our community, and much more.
Please feel free to explore and contact us with any questions you may have. Our hospital foundation is an important part of our community. We are confident that we can provide all of the information that you need to invest in health care excellence on the West Island and beyond.

The LGH Foundation was proud to particpate in Avon's Paint it Pink Day, in aid of women who require medical care. The event was held at Avon's Pointe-Claire headquarters on June 23rd, 2009.
